Herbarium

Herbarium is a collection of dried plants that are stored in the cabinet and curated for such a long-term study like a library of plant diversity and is accessible to the public. Herbarium Perdana Botanical Garden Kuala Lumpur was officiated and fully opened to the public on March 3, 2017 by Senior Deputy Director of Landscape & Recreation Department of the City Hall of Kuala Lumpur, Mrs. Puteri Khairul Fathiah bt. Fahimudin.

Herbarium Perdana Botanical Garden keeps the collections of flowering and fruiting plants from Perdana Botanical Garden and forest areas in Peninsular Malaysia. All taxonomy data collection was recorded in the database BRAHMS (Botanical Research and Herbarium Management System). Herbarium Perdana Botanical Garden is open to the public for studies of the plants from Monday to Friday every week between 8.00 am to 4.30 pm.
